UV Resistance Performance Of Exterior Grade EPS Cement Sandwich Panel

Many people think all EPS Cement Sandwich Panel are only for interior use, but specially formulated exterior grade versions can be used as exterior wall panels, with excellent long term UV resistance that can withstand direct sunlight for more than 20 years without performance degradation. This exterior grade panel is now widely used for low-rise building exterior walls, providing a lightweight, high insulation alternative to traditional exterior wall materials.

The exterior grade EPS Cement Sandwich Panel uses a special modified cement facing layer added with anti-UV stabilizers, which prevents ultraviolet rays from breaking down the molecular structure of the panel surface. Long term outdoor aging tests show that after 2000 hours of strong UV radiation, the panel surface strength only decreases by less than 3%, with no cracking, powdering or color fading. You can cut slots on the inner side of the panel to lay the exterior wall’s lightning protection wires and facade lighting cables, hiding all wires inside the wall to avoid outdoor weather corrosion. The panel’s low water absorption performance prevents rainwater from penetrating into the wall, and its thermal insulation core reduces the building’s air conditioning energy consumption significantly. Unlike exterior insulation panels that need multiple layers of protective finishing, this panel can be directly finished with exterior wall paint, decorative bricks or stone veneer. Many low-rise villas, townhouses and industrial park buildings now use this exterior grade panel, cutting their exterior wall construction time by more than half, while achieving far better energy saving effect than traditional brick exterior walls.
