How To Paste Ceramic Tiles Vertically On EPS Cement Sandwich Panel Without Slipping

Many new users worry that when they paste heavy large-format ceramic tiles on the vertical surface of EPS Cement Sandwich Panel, the tiles will slip down before the adhesive cures, leading to uneven tile alignment. In fact, as long as you use the correct tiling process, you can paste even 1200mm×600mm large heavy tiles perfectly on the panel surface, no slipping problem at all.

First, you need to clean the EPS Cement Sandwich Panel surface completely, remove all dust, loose particles and release agent residue left from the manufacturing process. Then apply a layer of special interface treatment agent on the panel surface, and wait for it to dry completely. This step greatly improves the adhesion between the panel and the tile adhesive. Next, choose a flexible anti-slip tile adhesive that is suitable for lightweight wall panels. Do not spread the adhesive on a too large area at one time, only spread an area that you can finish tiling in 15 minutes. When you press the tile on the adhesive layer, twist it slightly to make sure the back of the tile is fully in contact with the adhesive. For tiles larger than 800mm on the long side, you can stick a small temporary supporting nail at the bottom of each tile to hold it in position, and remove the nail after the adhesive is fully cured. This process ensures that even the heaviest large tiles will never slip on the panel surface, and the bonding strength is so high that the tile will break before it separates from the panel
